Our Robots

Each year FRC Team 5962 builds a new robot to compete in the FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) challenge. We have competed at local off-season events, district qualifying events in Massachusetts and New Hampshire, the New England District Championship in Springfield MA, and even the World Championship in Detroit.

  2. Alliance 1 with team captain 190 Gompei and the Herd and 1768 Nashoba Robotics. Won the competition and received an Event Winner banner. NE District Competition (Sosik Division)
  3. Rank 43 with a record of 3-9-0
  4. Second time in a row qualifying for the NE Competition Mayhen in Merrimack
  5. Rank 19 with a record of 2-4-0
  6. Alliance 1, won the competition with partners 1768, 190, and 1735 MA State Championship 2025
  7. Rank 23 with a record of 1-6-0
  8. Alliance 2, won the competition with partners 88 and 2877

  2. Alliance 2 with team captain 88 TJ² and 5813 Morpheus, was eliminated after one round in the upper bracket.

NE WPI

  1. Rank 27 with a record of 9-9-0
  2. Alliance 1 with team captain 4048 Redshift and 1768 Nashoba Robotics, we won the competition, receiving our first ever Event Winner banner!!!
  3. Won our first ever Team Spirit Award

NE District Competition (Ganson Division)

  1. Rank 45 with a record of 5-7-0
  2. Won our first ever Judges award!!!!
  3. Our first time qualifying for the district competition in 5 years!!!

Mayhem in Merrimack

  1. Rank 22 in the qualification rounds with a record of 3-5-0
  2. Part of an alliance that was a semifinalist, only lost by one point!

We did not participate in or create a robot for the 2021 FIRST Robotics Competition due to the COVID-19 pandemic
